ICS Invitational Badminton Tournament
Greetings all AD’s & Coaches of Badminton
Age Group – U14 & U16
Gender: Boys & Girls
Date: Saturday April 18th
Venue: ICS
Time: 9.00- 1.00pm
This tournament will have limited entries and will be based on a first pass the post entry. I intend to run a tournament based on a minimum of 4 teams & a maximum of 6 teams for each division. (First 5 school to enter as ICS teams have automatic entry)

Number of teams are limited so that each team will play at least 4- 5 matches for the tournament based on the number of courts we have available at ICS
The purpose of this tournament is to prepare teams for possible entry into ISSFHK play off Tournament on 9th May & to give players an opportunity to experience tournament play.
There will be no prizes or awards presentation – this is purely to provide experience for students to play Badminton.
There is No cost – except that I would expect all teams to provide shuttles for two of their matches or to share with another team. This will be indicated in the final schedule which team will be required to supply shuttles for a match.
All teams will be expected to do duties like umpire, score & linesmen for matches. Hopefully, this will give players indication of responsibilities.

Please confirm your willingness to be involved by Thursday 9th April as I would like to have the confirmed draw to you by Tuesday 14th April. Numbers are limited so please confirm entry by above date or sooner. (4-6 teams per division)
Team entry forms need to be emailed to me by Thursday April 16th. Please complete this as accurately as possible as these will be used to make up Team sheets for all matches during the tournament.
